Gas pipelines hazardous The 30-inch diameter gas pipeline explosion last week in western Pennsylvania is an example of the irreparable harm brought upon innocent victims that is part of the inherent failures of the interstate fossil fuel pipeline system (“Pa. gas blast reverbs in Mass.,” May 1).
